Delicious Hasselback Potatoes
A beautiful twist on classic baked potatoes.
- 4 potatoes medium, with skin on
- 4 Tbsp olive oil can sub with butter
- salt and peppper to taste
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees C (about 475 F) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Brush the foil lightly with oil and set aside.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and then use a clean and dry cloth to dry it as much possible.
Using a sharp knife, make very close cuts until 2/3 of the potatoes starting from the top. Make sure not to cut them all the way through!
Repeat the process with the rest of the potatoes.
Place the slit potatoes onto the prepared baking sheet and then generously brush them with oil.
Season with salt and pepper, or other spices.
Roast the potatoes for 45 minutes or more, until the potatoes turn fork-tender.
Serve hot and enjoy!
