Thanksgiving can be a great time for food and feasting, but there are some great Thanksgiving fitness options available where you can burn calories and give back to those in need. Here are some great options in Virginia Beach from Jess Horton of the Fit Petite.

Planning Your Thanksgiving Fitness Strategy

Start your day with some pre-feast fitness! Spend some time outside, raise your energy levels, and rev up your metabolism before that big meal. The average Thanksgiving dinner plate rings in at about 3000 calories. After we add in the tasty appetizers, homemade desserts, and a festive cocktail or two, you are quickly over 4,500. I am not going to tell you to opt-out of the pie or extra mashed potatoes. I believe we all should indulge in the day and I encourage you to do so! But I will challenge you to put that body into motion before you ever get snacking! Here are a few ways you can sweat before you ever hit the kitchen!

1. Thanksgiving Fitness Gameplan
