Meet Kayleigh
I’m a Mom of three, and the Marketing Director for Yorktown, VA -based Spain Commercial Inc. I actually began working for the family business, Spain Commercial, as a laborer but worked my way up and used my knowledge of commercial construction to tell the story of not only the construction business but its clients through social media marketing.
Authentic Adventurous Style
Which two words describe you? Authentic and adventurous.
Where are your favorite places to shop? I’m obsessed with ASOS, Versona, and Little England Mercantile in Gloucester, VA. I don’t shop a ton, but if I do, it’s usually in those stores.
Who’s your favorite style icon? Brigitte Bardot. I love vintage style clothing so much. I even joke that I was born in the wrong era. I really love Brigette Bardot’s style. I think it’s timeless.
What’s your best style advice? As a tired Mom of three, I love wearing fake eyelashes to really make my eyes pop and distract you from the bags underneath my eyes.:)
Authentic Adventurous Family
What’s your favorite way to spend time with your family? I love being active with my family! We love bike riding, snowboarding, and rock climbing. I love being active and being in the outdoors and now I love that I get to do that with my kids.
What’s been your best family vacation? This past Christmas we went to Snowshoe, West Virginia. I have loved snowboarding for a long time and on this trip, my kids learned to snowboard. It was seriously the best thing ever for me.
Best Parenting Advice: I just googled “good parenting advice” if that tells you anything. None of us have it all figured out. After I found out I was pregnant with my first child, my son, I read this quote that has stuck with me as a parent: “Your children will become what you are, so be who you want them to be.”
Parenting True Confession: Ooh man, we use “Santa Claus is watching you” all year round. My kids start acting crazy in January and I still use good Old Saint Nick as an excuse for them to get their act together.
What’s your go-to family dinner? Taco Tuesday/Taco Wednesday/Taco Thursday – We are making it a thing:)
What’s your favorite family restaurant? Blaze Pizza

What’s your favorite show to binge-watch? Person of Interest!
If you could pick anyone to star as you in a movie based on your life, who would it be? Katheryn Winnick 1000% She is so fierce!
What’s your favorite beach read? I am a huge Rachel Hollis fan. I am currently re-reading Girl, Stop Apologizing.
What’s the best song to dance to when nobody’s watching? Diplo – “Get it Right.”
If you could go shopping with anyone from history, living or deceased, who would it be? Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Blackwell, Harriet Tubman, Amelia Earhart or any one of the female pioneers who paved the way for women’s rights and for women to be perceived differently. I would love to get inside their heads…and also thank them. They paved the way for women to have more rights and more opportunities and for that, I will be forever grateful.
What’s at the top of your travel bucket list? I have always wanted to go to the Swiss Alps – to snowboard!
What’s your favorite way to unwind at the end of a long day? A glass of Mommy Juice, aka wine, and watching TV.
