1 Parchment Paper Cut it to the size of the baking sheet.
Ingredients
2tbspolive oil
1 1/4cupsoat flour
1tbspdried catnip
3/4cupshredded carrot
1large egglightly beaten
cold water as needed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium-sized bowl, add the oil and mix in the flour until the mixture has the consistency of sand.
Gently stir in the catnip and carrots.
Mix in the egg. Depending on how wet or dry the carrots are, the mixture may need water if it looks too dry, or it may need some extra flour if it looks too wet.
Sprinkle a flat surface with flour and roll the dough to a 1/4-inch thickness. Add flour as necessary.
Puncture the dough with a fork, then use the pastry or pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1/2-inch squares.
Arrange the squares on the baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes or until the squares turn brown.
Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing them.
Store in an air-tight container. If you baked them to a softer texture for your cat store them in the refrigerator. You can store them in the freezer for longer storage periods.
