Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
In a medium bowl, mix together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of white sugar, and 3/4 cup of softened unsalted butter. Blend these ingredients until the mixture becomes crumbly.
Press the crumbly mixture evenly into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the crust is lightly browned.
For the filling
While the crust is baking, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine 3/4 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar, 2/3 cup of unsalted butter, and 3 tablespoons of heavy cream.
Bring this mixture to a boil, then remove it from the heat.
Stir in 3 cups of chopped pecans. Make sure they are well coated with the mixture.
Pour the pecan filling over the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
Place the pan back in the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, cut them into bars.
