Creamy Avocado Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz Can of chickpeas well drained
  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled pitted
  • 3 tbsp olive oil plus more for garnish
  • 1-1/2 tbsp tahini
  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic peeled and minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish
  • red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions
 

Creamy Avocado Hummus

  • Blend chick peas, olive oil, tahini, lime juice, and garlic in a food processor until smooth, about 2 minutes
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add cumin and avocados and pulse mixture until smooth and creamy, about 1 - 2 minutes.
  • Serve garnished with additional olive oil if desired. Sprinkle with cilantro and red pepper flakes to your taste.
