Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1 lb fresh mozzarella (thinly sliced)
  • 25-30 leaves fresh basil (about one bunch)
  • extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
  • balsamic vinegar (for drizzling)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

Fresh Caprese Salad

  • On a large, shallow platter or plate, layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella, adding a basil leaf between each one.
  • Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
