Ingredients

  • 3 cups crushed raspberries
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 box Sure Jell Fruit Pectin
  • 2/3 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Raspberry Freezer Jam

  • Wash and crush 3 cups raspberries. If you use a food processor, set pulse to chop, not puree.
  • Stir Lemon Juice into fruit. Stir sugar into fruit mix. Do not reduce the sugar or use a sugar substitute (this could cause result failures). Let stand for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • After the 10 min., mix 3/4 cup water and Sure Jell in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Immediately stir Sure Jell mixture into prepared fruit mixture.  Stir constantly for 3 minutes. (Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.)
  • Fill jars quickly, leaving 1/2 inch of space at top. Cover with lids.
  • Let stand at room temperature for 24 hrs.
  • Freeze for up to 1 year and thaw in refrigerator before using. It is not necessary to freeze first. You can immediately put a jar into the fridge if you would like it for the next day.
  • Enjoy!
