Ginger Lemonade

Delicious and tasty spin on traditional lemonade!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 5 tbsp lemon juice ((or as much juice as you can get from 2 lemons))
  • 3 cups water

Instructions
 

Ginger Lemonade

  • Combine sugar, ginger and lemon peel into sauce pot
  • Add 1 cup water to the mixture and bring to slight boil. Let simmer (5 minutes)
  • Remove mixture from heat and let sit (15 minutes)
  • Pour lemon juice into pitcher. Add 3 cups water
  • Add sugar mixture and stir
  • Serve on ice!
