Meet Leslie
I'm a mom of three awesome and active children. You will usually find me driving them around to some sort of practice or activity. And, when I'm not with them I am most likely volunteering, playing tennis, or working on a project for my new business, Glen Airy Gifts. I like to stay busy; that may be an understatement actually.

Which three words best describe your style? Preppy, casual, practical
What are your favorite places to shop? Boden, J McLaughlin, Lululemon – and if I'm being brutally honest – the last place I bought a piece of clothing was Target, ha!
Who's your favorite style icon? Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis – I know that may seem odd since I like to be casual. I just think every time you see a photo of her she looks perfect, but like she was not trying… whether casual or headed to a black tie event – simple, timeless, classic, beautiful.
What’s your best style advice? Be yourself and be comfortable. If you try to go against either of those how can you be happy?
What article of clothing/accessory would you not want to live without? Gold elephant hair bracelet that was my mom's.
Which trend would you want to see make a comeback? I don't think there is really a trend I miss?!?
What should NEVER make a comeback? Overalls
What fashion/style did you love at the time, but now cringe when you see old photos? In the late '90s do you remember those nylon/polyester/spandex type pants… I think I had them in every color. Ugh, so itchy and not sure how they really could have been all that flattering…
What’s your best style secret? I'm all about getting out the door as quickly as possible and looking as pulled together as possible. I'd say my best secret is staying simple.
Stilettos or Flats? FLATS FOR SURE!

What’s your favorite way to spend time with your family? I love going on trips with my family… you leave the hustle and bustle of daily home duties behind and truly just enjoy each other.
What’s been your best family vacation? This summer we took a two-week RV trip out west. It was AMAZING!!! We stayed in the RV every night and ate the majority of our meals in it. We saw so many wonderful places – I think my favorite though was hiking in the Badlands in South Dakota.
Best parenting advice: Try and be patient and take a breath before getting upset or frustrated with a child. I work on this Every. Single. Day. What they hear and believe from you is shaping who they become.
Parenting true confession: I mean – there are so many, hahahaha! I'd say something I am often guilty of is getting money for a sitter or the pizza guy out of one of my children's wallets/stash. I always repay them. I never have cash!!!
What’s your go-to family dinner? Nachos – so easy and gives everyone the option to make their's exactly how they want them!
What’s your favorite family restaurant? Aloha Snacks – a favorite for all!

What’s your favorite show to binge watch? Grey's Anatomy – yep, still watch it, and love it!
What’s your favorite beach read? A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner
What’s the best song to dance to when nobody’s watching? "Chicken Fried" – I guess more so than dance, I love to turn it up and sing, ha!
If you could go shopping with anyone from history, living or deceased, who would it be? I'd like to go grocery shopping with my paternal grandmother. Some may think this is crazy, but she passed when I was young and my few memories of her are in the kitchen cooking with her. I just would love for her to take me shopping and teach me some recipes
What’s at the top of your travel bucket list? Paris
What’s your favorite way to unwind at the end of a long day? Having dinner with my family, catching up on everyone's day and just enjoying each other's company. Oh, and after the little ones are in bed – having a glass of wine and catching up on one of our Netflix series with my husband😊
