Casual Flip-Flop Dad on the Street Clint Mann is husband to Jess, dad to Sophia, friend, and financial advisor in that order. He loves singing, French fries, long days sitting on the beach, listening to records with Sophia, cooking and watching “The Office” with Jess and having long, in-depth conversations about Fantasy Football with anyone who will listen. Clint moved to Virginia Beach six years ago for a job with Young Life and fell in love with living at the beach. He is passionate about Jesus, deep friendships, transparency and helping people be good stewards of their money.

Which three words best describe your style? Casual, flip flops, and “Same Wardrobe since 2013″ (I know this is more than three words, but I need to be honest).
What are your favorite places to shop? Target, Jos. A Banks, and Target again. Who’s your favorite style icon? Jim Halpert.
What trend did you love at the time, but now cringe when you see old photos? I wore two polos with both collars popped in middle school and it keeps me up at night.
What’s your best style advice? Think about what your level of dress will communicate to the people you see wherever you are going. If you want to communicate respect or excitement about being with someone, don’t dress like you’re headed to the gym. Put on a polo (but don’t pop the collar).
What’s your dad superpower? Making my daughter laugh. Facial hair or clean-shaven? Clean-shaven.

What’s your favorite way to spend time with your family? Sitting together listening to music on the back porch.
What’s been your best family vacation? Sophia is only 12 weeks old, so we haven’t taken a trip with her yet… but my favorite trip that Jess and I have taken was a week-long vacation to San Diego.
What’s your favorite family activity? When we wake Sophia up in the morning. She is always FIRED UP to see us. Or maybe she is just excited to eat. Either way, we love it.
Best parenting advice: I’m new at this, but I believe there is power in words. Speaking life and truth to my daughter and telling her I love her regularly has already made an impact in her little life. And if you believe in prayer, that would be my number one.
Parenting true confession: My wife caught me completely asleep, cradling my cell phone like a baby at 4:30 AM when Sophia was a newborn.
What’s your go-to family dinner? Italian sauce with meatballs (Jess’ family recipe).
What’s your favorite family restaurant? Chipotle. Too easy.

What’s your favorite show to binge-watch? Lost and The Office.
If you could pick anyone to star as you in a movie based on your life, who would it be? Matt Damon!
What’s your favorite sport and why? Basketball. It’s fast-paced, fun to play and fun to watch. What’s your favorite family dance party song? Forever by Chris Brown.
If you could hang out with anyone from history, living or deceased, who would it be? Jesus, but that feels too easy. The second thing that came to mind is the guys from a fantasy football podcast I listen to every day. I drive a lot for work and this podcast makes the driving seem much quicker!
What’s at the top of your travel bucket list? Italy. What’s your favorite way to unwind at the end of a long day? Debriefing the day with Jess and scrolling through sports news.

As a new father, Clint is well on his way to achieving ultimate dad-status. He cares deeply for his family and friends and is always on the hunt for those meaningful and profound conversations.
