Bible Stories

Read an exciting Bible story like: Noah's Ark (Genesis chapters 6-9), Jonah and the Whale (Jonah 1), David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17), Joshua and Jericho (Joshua 1-6). Retell the story to your child and relate it to real-life experiences (obeying, listening to God, rainstorms, animals, rainbows, etc). Have your child retell the Bible story to you.

Materials:

Bible for reading the stories. A children’s Bible with vibrant pictures would be especially fun for you to read together, but any Bible is great.

Big Idea:

You are part of God's wonderful story.

Readiness Milestone:

Listen to and enjoy stories and nursery rhymes.

Related Scripture:

Trust the Lord and his mighty power. Remember his miracles and all his wonders…

Psalm 105:4-5 (CEV)
