Take a Nature Walk!

Go on a nature walk with your child, and take a bag to collect "treasures" like leaves, rocks, flowers, seashells, and weeds. Do they make different sounds? What do they look like, feel like, sound like? Be sure to use all your senses to enjoy the big world that God has made.

Container for treasures you find on the nature walk

Big Idea:

God created everything with special features that we can observe and enjoy.

Readiness Milestone:

Observe and explore major features of the natural world around him/her, both on Earth and in the sky.
