Play “Fur, Fin, Feather.” Either with studied animals, or pictures in a book, have an assortment of different types of animals. Have your child classify and compare the animals. Do they have fur, fins, or feathers? Do they hop, run, fly, or swim? Do they have four legs or two? . . . the possibilities are endless!
