Draw a Rainbow

Take a box of crayons, chalk, or markers, and draw a rainbow or sunrise. Help your child to name the colors.

Materials:

Crayons, chalk

Big Idea:

God uses different colors to express the world to us. The multicollored rainbow is a reminder that God keeps His promises.

Readiness Milestone:

Name the colors in a box of eight crayons. (red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, brown, black).

Related Scripture:

The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth. It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever.
