Meet Charlotte
Charlotte is married to the man of her dreams whom she met in an elevator in 2010. He provides her with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom, taking care of her four children and four pets in Chester County, PA. Charlotte has a love for God, a passion for paddle boarding, and a recent obsession with axolotls.

Which three words best describe your style? Modest, Active, Understated
What are your favorite places to shop? Style Encore! It’s a local consignment store that carries all my favorite brands for less, so I usually start there when shopping.
What’s your best style advice? The fashion rule of three— put on a top & bottom then add a third layer or accessory.
Which trend would you want to see make a comeback? I’m loving that hair scrunchies are back!
What should NEVER make a comeback? Tanning beds.
What’s your best style secret? Plus White 5 minute speed whitening gel— get it at Walmart for $5 and it works great!
Stilettos or flats? Both! It depends on the occasion. I had a boss who told me not to wear heels because it made him feel short. After wearing flats for a year, I decided to embrace my height with heels and not let anyone tell me otherwise!
Active Understated (and Vibrant Fun) Family
What’s your favorite way to spend time with your family? Most Friday nights we like to pet all the fuzzy baby animals at our local pet store, then pick up Thai food on the way home.
What’s been your best family vacation? We went to the Poconos this summer with extended fam. It was fun to relax and enjoy them!
Best parenting advice: Parent with the long view in mind (18+ years) not the moment (or to just make it till bedtime!).
Parenting true confession: We definitely don’t bathe our kids as often as we should!
What’s your go-to family dinner? I love making fried chicken in my air fryer. I also make chicken thigh tacos in the crockpot a few times a month. It’s cheap, easy, healthy, and tasty— a win with the whole fam!
What’s your favorite family restaurant? It’s not a restaurant but we love eating at Grandma’s house 😊

What’s your favorite show to binge-watch? The Good Place is hilarious! Despite its terrible afterlife theology, it has a creative script and great actors.
What’s your favorite beach read? Ha ha with four young kids there’s no reading on the beach for me! But I get a lot of reading in at home, usually something related to Christianity or parenting. My favorite authors are Jen Wilkin and Malcolm Gladwell.
What’s the best song to dance to when nobody’s watching? I rang in the New Year 2012 at the Bolivia Life Center with some church friends dancing to Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, and I’ve been dancing to that song ever since!
What’s at the top of your travel bucket list? Since reading Chelsea’s Mom on the Street, I really want to go to Machu Picchu with them! I’d also like to visit some national parks like Yosemite and Zion. And I would also visit Italy again with Jordan in a heartbeat 🙂
What’s your favorite way to unwind at the end of a long day? Doing a puzzle while listening to The Bible Project podcast with a spicy Malbec 🍷
